Aged Garlic Honey Glazed Roasted Carrots
By The Farm
These simple roasted carrots need only three ingredients: carrots, salt, and Aged Garlic Honey. Roasting develops the carrots’ natural sweetness, while a glossy honey finish adds savory garlic flavor without scorching in the oven.
Makes: 4 side-dish servings
Oven: 425°F
Ingredients
- 1 pound carrots, peeled if desired and cut into evenly sized sticks
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons Weeks Honey Farm Aged Garlic Honey
How to Make Garlic Honey Roasted Carrots
- Heat the oven. Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Season the carrots. Spread the carrots in a single layer on the prepared pan and sprinkle evenly with salt.
- Roast. Roast for 20 to 30 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the carrots are tender and browned at the edges. Timing varies with thickness.
- Glaze after roasting. Transfer the hot carrots to a serving bowl. Drizzle with Aged Garlic Honey and toss gently until evenly coated.
- Serve. Taste, add a small pinch of salt if needed, and serve warm.
Tips for Even Roasting
- Cut the carrots to a similar thickness so they finish at the same time.
- Leave space between pieces so they roast instead of steam.
- Add the honey after roasting to preserve its flavor and prevent scorching.
- For softer carrots, roast a few minutes longer; for firmer carrots, begin checking at 20 minutes.
