What You'll Need:
One 12 oz can of beer (room temperature) OR 12 oz buttermilk for biscuits
Optional: 2 tbsp butter for topping
Easy Directions:
For Beer Bread:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2: Combine package with one 12 oz can of beer (room temperature) and stir until blended.
Step 3: Pour batter into a well-greased bread pan (9x5x4 in).
Step 4: Bake 45-50 minutes or until bread begins to pull away from sides.
Optional: Melt 2 tbsp butter and pour over the bread batter during the last 5-10 minutes of baking!
For Drop Biscuits:
Substitute 12 oz of buttermilk for the beer. Drop onto baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 20 minutes. Brush with butter.
Note: You can substitute ginger ale, club soda, or lemon-lime soda for the beer. (Bread will be slightly sweeter.)
