Strawberry Spinach Salad with Honey Balsamic Dressing
By The Farm
Fresh strawberries, creamy avocado, baby spinach, walnuts, and feta come together with a simple honey balsamic dressing. Blackberry Honey adds rich floral sweetness that naturally complements the berries and tangy vinegar.
Makes: 6 servings
Salad Ingredients
- 8 ounces baby spinach
- 16 ounces strawberries, sliced
- 2 avocados, cubed
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/3 cup crumbled feta
Honey Balsamic Dressing
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup Weeks Honey Farm Blackberry Honey
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
How to Make Strawberry Spinach Salad
- Make the dressing. Whisk the balsamic vinegar, Blackberry Honey, and olive oil together until smooth and emulsified.
- Build the salad. Add the spinach and sliced strawberries to a large serving bowl. Gently fold in the avocado, walnuts, and feta.
- Dress just before serving. Drizzle on only enough dressing to lightly coat the salad, then toss gently so the avocado stays intact.
- Serve. Offer any remaining dressing at the table.
Make-Ahead Tips
- Wash and thoroughly dry the spinach and strawberries in advance.
- Mix the dressing ahead and refrigerate it in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days.
- Cut the avocado and dress the salad just before serving.
- Toast the walnuts briefly for deeper flavor, if desired.
Why Blackberry Honey Works
Blackberry Honey brings rich floral sweetness to the balsamic dressing and echoes the fresh berry flavor without making the salad heavy.
