Blueberry Citrus Slush with Honey
By The Farm
This frosty blueberry citrus slush blends fresh orange, lemon, and lime juices with frozen blueberries, ice, and Orange Blossom Honey. It is a bright, alcohol-free summer drink that takes only minutes to make in a blender.
Makes: Six 6-ounce servings
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups fresh orange juice
- 1/2 cup Weeks Honey Farm Orange Blossom Honey
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
- 1 cup crushed ice
How to Make Blueberry Citrus Slush
- Dissolve the honey. Add the orange juice, honey, lemon juice, and lime juice to a blender. Blend briefly until the honey is fully incorporated.
- Add the frozen ingredients. Add the frozen blueberries and crushed ice.
- Blend until slushy. Puree until smooth and frosty, stopping to scrape the blender if needed.
- Serve immediately. Divide among six small glasses and garnish with a lemon or lime wheel if desired.
Tips for the Best Texture
- Use frozen blueberries straight from the freezer for a thick, cold slush.
- If the mixture is too thick to blend, add orange juice a tablespoon at a time.
- If it is too thin, add a little more crushed ice or frozen blueberries.
- Chill the glasses before serving to help the drink stay frosty longer.
Why Orange Blossom Honey Works
Orange Blossom Honey reinforces the fresh citrus flavors while rounding out the natural tartness of blueberries, lemon, and lime.
