Hot Honey Glazed Fried Chicken

Our Hot Honey was made for one thing above all: pouring over crispy fried chicken. Here's the definitive recipe.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp paprika
- Peanut oil for frying
- 1/4 cup Weeks Hot Honey
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Method
- Brine chicken in buttermilk 4 hours (or overnight).
- Dredge in seasoned flour, rest 10 min.
- Fry at 350°F until internal temp hits 165°F (~14 min).
- Drain on rack, not paper towels.
- Warm Hot Honey + cider vinegar together, drizzle over chicken.
Pro tip: The chicken needs to be HOT when the honey hits it — the heat activates the chili in the honey and melts it into the crust.
